Promotions:

31st March 2000 was the official launch of his first ever promotion “Squeeeze”. Aptly named for its small venue in London’s town of Uxbridge, it proved to be the crazy paving for future events that have now become international clubbing brands hosting events a non other then the mecca of House Pacha, the formidable Castle Club in Cyprus & Ministry of Sound London.

With early success in Uxbridge, honing his DJ, people and promotional skills Steve quickly moved to London’s West End creating his then latest adventure “Funkylicious”. Now based in Leicester Square as a one-man band he was only too aware of the big guns drawing down. Undeterred and as hungry as a cow on a sand dune it was time to lay down the gauntlet and aim for the top in the worlds clubbing capital.

From there Steve launched 2 more significant clubbing brands “Funky4love” & “Another Wild Night” hosting events at some of London’s greatest venues such as Ministry of Sound, Pacha & Turnmills. In 2006 he decided it was time to scale the big pond, with Steve’s international residency at the Castle Club in Ayia Napa, being the largest club in the country it was the perfect opportunity to launch he’s very own brand Another Wild Night to coincide with the weekly Funky4love events in Cyprus and the monthly events at Pacha London.

From only the 1st year of Steve’s international stardom even more recognition was destined to come his way. With the Steve Richard’s name starting to span the globe, leading DJ equipment manufacturer Pioneer, were quick to sit up and take notice, and sponsored Richard’s events as his career continues to take-off.

Over the 2007/2008 Summer seasons in Cyprus, Steve would continue to bring a host of international a-list artists to the coast of Ayia Napa such as Mauro Picotto, Marco V, Freemasons, Grant Nelson, Soul avengerz, Jon Fitz, ATFC & many More steadily raising the profile of both promotion and promoter in Ayia Napa.

In Winter 2008 Steve was then offered the reigns to run the latest and greatest superclub in Ayia Napa “Babylon”, and being the sister club of Castle offered great opportunity to put Ayia Napa’s night life firmly back on the disco Map. During this time Steve continued to tour with Another Wild Night covering 3 continents to date and locking down a bi-monthly residency Londons very own Ministry of Sound.

Back to Ayia Napa for summer 2009 Steve put together the largest summer line up of International guests ever to be seen on the coast of Cyprus, boasting artists such as: Tiesto for his debut Ayia Napa appearance for 2 back to back shows, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Mark Knight, Sander Kleinenberg, Tall Paul, Mauro Picotto, Marco V, Misstress Barbara, Nic Fanciulli, Ravin, Gavyn Mytchel, Darwin & Backwall, Shane Kehoe & Aleka while working in collaboration with Ministry of Sound, Meganite, The Gallery and finally launch his latest venture into nightlife “Naparazi” with Tiesto. Already for 2010 he is heading up the complete re-build of yet another of Castle Club formidable rooms, we have much excitement for summer 2010…
